A magic coin is a reward you get when you collect a normal coin. It is completely random and if someone gets a reward it is almost impossible that you will get a reward from the same coin, although it has happened before. Magic coins were very rare, so there was little chance you will get a reward in the past; however, after the removal of the original magic system and the implementation of the new one, magic is much more common.
As of 21 November 2012, magic coins are used to get magic classes.
After the implementation of the new magic system update, there are higher chances of getting magic smileys.

Starting around early July, magic coins giving out extra energy was disabled due to abuse of the bot, Coin Collector. These are the chances of getting rewards before this happened:

In February 2015 Magic Bricks were added in the game. They can be found through a magic blue coin, and are very rare. It is thought that the percentage of acquiring them is around 1%, yet we are unsure what the actual chance is.
